Elementary
Kindergarten-5th grade
At North Christian School, students in K through 5th grades receive instruction from licensed teachers in the traditional subjects of Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies through the Christian perspective provided by the adopted curriculum from well established Christian publishers. Students also study the scriptures and daily application to their lives through a Bible curriculum approved by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Additionally, students receive instruction and experience with 21st Century technology through weekly computer classes as well as the interactive technology that is provided in each classroom. Students attend weekly PE and music classes and have the option to participate in school choir for further enrichment.
Enrichment
Students have the opportunity to participate in Speech Meet and county level Social Studies and Science Fairs as well as the Wood County Spelling Bee and Math Field Day. Students who are eligible may participate in the county gifted program. Staff Interventionists help to provide resources and additional support to students and teachers when needed.
